Custom tattoos, Gold Coast.
Licensed, junior artist. Save with my current day rate as I build my client base.
I'm Nathan. Send me what you're thinking and I'll tell you what it needs and what it costs.
Bring what you've got.
Whether it's your first piece or your next one, it starts the same way. Send through the idea, or a photo, and roughly where you want it.
Some people arrive with exact references and a placement in mind. Some arrive with a feeling and a spot on their arm. Both work.
Nathan Cockburn.
I'm a junior artist, fully registered and licensed, and I'm still mentored.
The level of attention that goes into your custom piece is my core focus.
$500 a day.
A day session is the all-day rate, running 10am to 5pm. It covers your custom design and artwork, the final stencil, and the tattooing itself. If your piece needs more than one day, we'll talk through the size and complexity upfront so you know exactly how many days to book.
Take advantage of my current rate.
It goes up every few months as I book out. What you're quoted is what you pay.
Four steps to getting booked.
Send your idea
Leave your name, number and what you're thinking of getting. That's enough for me to come back to you with an idea of the rate and what happens next.
Because I'm often deep in a piece and can't reply straight away, the form means I've got everything I need before I get back to you.
Talk it through with me
We talk through your idea and the approximate rate, then I'll send a form where you can upload reference images: other tattoos you like, complementary pieces or general inspiration.
We work the concept up together from there, swapping ideas, templates and imagery, and lock in the size and composition.
Book your session
Once we've settled the composition and imagery, I'll send a calendar link so you can book the day or days you need. I confirm the dates and send a deposit link to lock them in. No deposit means no guaranteed dates.
See it on your skin
Your approved design gets printed and placed on your skin. You see exactly how it sits and how it moves with you, and we finalise the stencil, making final adjustments so the contours and alignment work perfectly.
Then we tattoo. We confirm your aftercare, and your custom piece becomes living art.
Questions I get asked.
How much does it cost?
$500 a day. What your piece costs depends on how long it takes, and that depends on the design. I work it out once I've seen the idea and tell you before you commit to anything.
Are you licensed?
Yes. I'm a fully registered and licensed tattoo artist, working out of a professional studio with proper setup and hygiene.
Where are you based?
Gold Coast. My studio's here, and I also guest spot at a few prime locations, whichever suits your schedule best. We'll confirm the exact spot when you book.
What if I'm not sure exactly what I want yet?
Send me the rough idea, or a photo, and roughly where you want it. We work it out from there, and I'll talk you through what the session looks like.
Do I see the design before the day?
We lock in the concept, the imagery, the size and the composition together before you book, so you know exactly what you're getting. On the day your approved design gets printed and placed on your skin. You see how it sits and how it moves with you, we adjust the placement until it's right, then we tattoo.
